The sad landscape of the modern Swedish coinage is now refreshed by the 2012 dated 1 Krona fake coins which appeared in Northern Sweden. A pensioner discovered such coin in her pocket. Instead of the standard inscription "CARL XVI GUSTAF SVERIGES KONUNG" you can read there: "VAR HORKARL TILL KUNG"(engl. "Our whorer of a King"). The satiric coin as it is (who else should someone really fake the smallest Swedish coin worth 0.12 Euro?) is a reference to king's infidelities became known from his scandalizing biography published in 2010.
